Warranty & Guarantee Policy

At British Velora, we stand by the quality of our products. Every item is made with care and designed to provide long-lasting comfort, durability, and value. This Warranty & Guarantee Policy explains your rights and our commitments regarding product quality, repairs, and replacements.

1. Standard Warranty Coverage

All products sold by British Velora come with a minimum 12-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty covers manufacturing faults or material defects under normal domestic use.

Examples of what's covered:

  • Structural or frame defects in beds, sofas, or furniture
  • Faulty stitching or manufacturing errors
  • Mattress spring or filling defects within the warranty period

2. Extended Warranty (Selected Products)

Some premium mattresses, divan sets, or bed frames include extended warranties of up to 5 years. Extended warranty details are displayed on the product page or your invoice. Please retain proof of purchase for all warranty claims.

3. What's Not Covered

Your warranty does not cover:

  • General wear and tear from normal use
  • Accidental damage, stains, or misuse
  • Products altered or repaired by third parties
  • Damage caused by incorrect assembly or storage
  • Improper handling, cleaning, or use in non-domestic environments

For hygiene reasons, mattresses cannot be returned or exchanged once unsealed unless a manufacturing defect is proven.

4. Making a Warranty Claim

To raise a warranty claim, please email support@britishvelora.com with:

  • Your full name and order number
  • Product name and description of the issue
  • Clear photographs showing the fault

Our inspection team may request additional details or arrange a collection for assessment. If your claim is valid, we will offer a free repair, replacement, or partial refund, depending on the situation.

5. Repair or Replacement Process

If a product fault is confirmed:

  • We will first attempt to repair the item at no cost to you.
  • If a repair is not possible, a replacement or refund will be arranged.
  • In some cases, a pro-rata refund may apply for items beyond 12 months old.

6. Trade and Wholesale Orders

Warranty coverage for trade or bulk purchases may differ depending on order volume and use case. All trade warranties must be agreed upon in writing before purchase or delivery.

7. Consumer Rights

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You are entitled to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
