Delivery Policy

Thank you for shopping with British Velora. This Delivery Policy explains how we process, handle, and deliver your furniture orders placed through www.britishvelora.com or directly with our team.

1. Delivery Coverage

We deliver across Preston, Blackburn, Lancaster, Kendal, the Lake District, and surrounding areas. Nationwide delivery across the UK mainland is available for selected items. For out-of-area deliveries, please contact us before placing your order.

2. Delivery Partners

Deliveries are carried out by our own logistics team or trusted third-party couriers who specialise in furniture transport. All partners are vetted to ensure your order arrives safely and on time.

3. Delivery Timeframes

  • Standard Delivery: 3–10 working days (subject to stock availability).
  • Made-to-Order / Custom Furniture: Usually 2–4 weeks, depending on production schedules.
  • Bulk & Trade Orders: Timelines confirmed upon quotation.

We will always provide an estimated delivery date when you place your order. You will also receive a confirmation email or SMS once your delivery has been scheduled.

4. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges depend on your location, order size, and type of product. Exact delivery costs are displayed at checkout. For large or multiple-item orders, we may contact you to confirm an appropriate delivery method and price.

5. Access and Delivery Requirements

Please make sure our delivery team can access your property safely and that doorways, stairways, or lifts are suitable for the items ordered. If access is restricted or unsafe, the delivery may be rescheduled and additional charges may apply.

6. Missed or Failed Deliveries

If no one is available at the confirmed delivery address, our driver will leave a calling card or attempt to contact you. Re-delivery or storage fees may apply if a new appointment is required.

7. Delivery Inspection

Please inspect all items on delivery. If any item arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, report it to our driver immediately and email support@britishvelora.com within 48 hours with photos and order details. This allows us to resolve the issue quickly.

8. Click & Collect (if applicable)

Some items may be available for collection from our Blackburn warehouse at Unit 9 Ramsgreave Business Park. Please wait for confirmation before arriving to collect your order.

9. International Delivery

At present, we do not offer international delivery outside the UK mainland. For trade export enquiries, please contact us directly.

10. Delays Beyond Our Control

While we do everything possible to meet delivery timeframes, delays may occasionally occur due to supplier shortages, weather conditions, or courier issues. We will notify you promptly and rearrange delivery at the earliest opportunity.
